Schneller und leichtere Updates

Wiki 2.4.29 ist wesentlich schneller und bietet ein neues Installations- und Upgrade-Verfahren.

Unser erstes Ziel war es, alle potenziellen Sicherheitslücken zu finden und sie zu beheben. Sie als telepark.wiki-Anwender sollen sich sicher fühlen und es auch sein. Wir haben jedes Verzeichnis, jede Datei, jeden Aufruf und jede Systemantwort untersucht und unser Ziel erreicht.

Keine Software ist 100% sicher, doch sind wir (nicht zuletzt als Eigenanwender) permanent auf der Hut vor potenziellen Schwachstellen und sehen uns in der Pflicht diese umgehend zu beheben, wann immer sie auftauchen.

50% mehr Leistung

Unser zweites Ziel war es, die Benutzerfreundlichkeit zu verbessern. Wir haben kürzlich erst das "Dynamic Tree Loading" (dynamische Laden der Menüstruktur) eingeführt, sind aber mit der aktuellen Version 2.4.29 noch zwei Schritte weiter gegangen.

Als interaktive AJAX-Web-Software ist telepark.wiki vom Grunddesign her bereits recht flott. Die neuen Leistungssprünge haben wir mit der weiteren Verringerung von Server-Aufrufen und einem neuen, innovativen Caching-System sowie der Komprimierung von JavaScript-Dateien erreicht.

Menü-Ladezeiten haben sich weiter verringert, das Laden der ersten Seite ist schneller geworden. Die rechnerische Leistungssteigerung liegt zwischen 30% und 50%, ein Update lohnt sich zwingend.

Installation extrem vereinfacht

Drittes Ziel bei der Verbesserung der Benutzerfreundlichkeit war die Neugestaltung des Installations- und Upgrade-Systems von telepark.wiki, nach dem Motto: den Benutzer nichts fragen und ihm nichts anzeigen, was nicht absolut erforderlich ist.

Es ist nicht immer einfach, Web-Software an spezifische Hosting-Umgebungen und -Konfigurationen anzupassen. Auch hier setzt telepark.wiki 2.4.29 Maßstäbe: die neuen Wiki-Installations- und Update-Routinen garantieren in 95% aller Fälle eine völlig geräusch- und reibungslose Installation. Und in den wenigen Fällen, in denen der Benutzer eingreifen muss, sind detaillierte Anweisungen vorhanden.
